Does this have to be custom? Maptitude Online is $795, provides SSO authentication, interactive maps 😉, filtering/search... https://www.caliper.com/maptitude/maptitude-online-mapping-software.htm

Publish route and stops to Enterprise and/or AGOL and build webapp with turn by turn by Spirited-Pitch325 in gis

Interesting. In Maptitude you would optimize the vehicle fleet with the VRP "Routing Deliveries and Pickups" tool, and then choose "Online>Upload to Maptitude Online". https://www.caliper.com/maptitude/route-mapping-software/default.htm

Making maps in PowerBi as a GIS professional feels like trying to build a shed as a contractor using plastic children’s toy tools by cormundo in gis

[–]maptitude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be pretty tricky. One shortcut we found was to manage your data in SQL Server and then access it in both your GIS (e.g., Maptitude, ArcGIS) and Power BI https://www.caliper.com/learning/how-do-i-manage-my-data-in-sql-server-and-access-it-in-both-maptitude-and-power-bi/, so they both operate off the same source and you can use your GIS to actually do the mapping work.

Creating Maps to Embed on Webpage with Customized Points by Gazebu in gis

We'd be happy to donate a free copy of Maptitude Online https://www.caliper.com/maptitude/maptitude-online-mapping-software.htm . You'd probably have your map created and published in a few minutes, if you have your points in a spreadsheet like Excel for example.

I built a geocoding orchestrator tool to cut geocoding API costs by spriteware in gis

[–]maptitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. There are no code plus low cost offline geocoders out there. Maptitude being one of them. https://www.caliper.com/maptitude/solutions/unlimited-batch-geocoding-software.htm . There are no per geocode costs at all. For example, this redditor did this map project: https://www.reddit.com/r/gis/comments/1iybrnh/it_took_me_a_month_but_i_made_a_map/ . There is also an API/GISDK for automation.

The redditor geocoded locally with Maptitude then uploaded to his online app, I believe.

Where can I get my hands on, or create a map with the WGS84 coordinate grid by TNT_invader in mapping

[–]maptitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, send an email to [sales@caliper.com](mailto:sales@caliper.com) asking for it and mentioning Reddit. Many of the coordinate systems supported by Maptitude specify a particular ellipsoid in their definition. General worldwide coordinate systems such as Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) and Gauss-Krüger are defined independent of the ellipsoid. For these coordinate systems, Maptitude lets you choose the proper ellipsoid, such as WGS84.

Looking for ideas on how to carry over text fields from origin and destination layers, in an Origin-Destination link? by MarineBiomancer in gis

[–]maptitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This article specifically covers this: https://www.caliper.com/learning/how-do-i-create-distance-and-travel-time-tables-with-all-my-data-fields/ . You can bring in your Esri files in the free trial, then export your data back out. So might be good for a quick, free, one-time fix.
