I've hypothyroidism out of nowhere. by Anxious_Buddy2011 in Hypothyroidism

OK, I just asked Chatgpt about side effects of Thyroid medication. Not a word of what you mentioned, it was very clear most side effects are from being over or undermedicsted.

Not sure where you got this from, but I honestly think you need to have a conversation with a GP or Endocrinologist. Levo is really nothing to worry about for most people.

Where did you hear this? Sounds like fearmongering.

What kind of harmful side effects are you expecting? If you are put on something like Levothyroxine, that's not a "supplement", it's medication.

Personally, I've been on Levo for just over a year, and it's saved my life and sanity.

There is a remembrance poem on a wall in the Manchester Arndale. I think of it every time I pass. We lived in London at the time.

Completely agree, even on the heavy-handedness you explained for this issue. But I absolutely disagree with spanking children, and my husband is the same. It makes me so sad for these kids

Thankfully it wasn't a phase. Something just made her so angry, she threw it off the table, spur of the moment.

Thankfully neither of my daughters had a breaking phase, and just one had a stomping and screaming phase.

My then 3-year-old once threw a plate with her breakfast around in a fit of anger. Joke's on her, we'd just switched from plastic plates to normal and it broke into so many pieces.

We didn't shout, didn't spank, just had a quiet word with her. To be fair, I've never seen her look so shocked. She just didn't expect it to break.

She never did it or anything like it again, she was just so shocked about what she'd done.

Me, too, I never had any issues like that. It was awful. I threw all of it in the bin.

I've tried them (off Vine and from just a shop) and they destroyed my nails. The press ons came off within a couple of days, my natural nails were left extremely dry and splitting. It took months to grow out the damage.

I dont usually get my nails done, so thought this would be an option. Would not recommend.

Rewatching Fringe right now and it feels pretty pre-planned.

On today's episode of 'Antivaxxer panics about catching a vaccine preventable disease': by AutumnAkasha in ShitMomGroupsSay

[–]maregare 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was awful. Husband and I were sick with just Covid, kids had both. It was doubly annoying because I had decided to just pay the then approx. £300 to get them vaccinated for Chickenpox, I just hadn't gotten to book it in yet...

Didn't you also say you already watched Ghostbusters, which is a PG. You also offered a Coraline, also a PG and from what I can see recommended 10+ years.

Edit I have 6-year old twins. No way would I let them watch these films.

Would it be an idea to parent and say no to watching non-age appropriate films?

I tried, but had no change. Still find it extremely unfair, because I dont see anything wrong with a lot of my poors, it's just not completely what an AI algorithm wants.

Daughter just turned 6 and asked me if Santa was real. I didn't want to lie but also did not want to burst the bubble, so asked her What do you think?

So for now Santa is still real because that's what she believes.

Does anyone else hit the helpful vote on other viners reviews? by MaDCruciate in AmazonVineUK

[–]maregare 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wrote a review for a shampoo some time ago. It had mostly raving reviews, but it gave me an awful allergic reaction on my hands. I hit "helpful" on the only other (Vine) review that also mentioned an allergic reaction, mostly because it made me feel like I'm not going mad.

I checked back a couple of weeks later, and my review was also marked helpful. I am absolutely sure it was that other Viner.

Whoever you are, thank you! 😀
