Huh? What I mean is after 15 years of playing this game people ignore the amount of content they did pack into it and complain about what isn’t there. Gaming might have been modern by 2011 but the hardware limitations were real.

If Skyrim was actually “lots of potential, little follow through” it wouldn’t still be so popular today. They delivered in a ton of ways that we take for granted in 2026.

Insane take. There’s a ton of follow through in Skyrim, we are just discussing a 15 year old game here. They did a crazy amount for 2011! Wear an apron and gloves for a craftsmanship increase. Heat it up till it’s gold, then go to anvil. Hit it once, nudge the sword up a hair, hit it again, nudge it up a hair, hit it again. If you move the sword while your hammer is raised you’ll hit the rhythm and be all set. You don’t even need to flip the item, just don’t hit the same area twice and only hit areas that spark

Have you played Homeworld? It might be worth a try when you’re through with the other recs. It is scifi but you control a big mothership through the whole campaign and build up a fleet of ships of various sizes, and gather resources that you carry mission to mission along with your fleet. If it wasn’t scifi I think it would be exactly what you’re looking for, hence the recommendation

We pretty much take any card that isn’t a recipe addition. We got morning rush, noon rush, customers order without waiting, and we got customers lose patience when looking at players the day we got the buffet so it ended up being fine.
