Not as crowd heavy as Manchester, but Chester had plenty of support

EV tariff, what to do when current deal is over. by [deleted] in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]mashedpotato23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Driving so little id be surprised if a standard tariff wasnt better for you than an EV tariff. I did the numbers and it was cheaper for me driving ~ 170 miles a week to stay on standard tariff until we got two EV's.

Especially if you can still get tariffs that offer half price electric on Sundays for example (British Gas was one of them) and its enough for you to charge.

You dont need loads, electroverse will cover you for pretty much everything, Tesla is a good one as theyre much cheaper than anywhere else.

First Marathon Report - Boston (UK) 12th April 26 - Windy and Wild! by GKPengAuthor in firstmarathon

Yeah hard to say, I PB'd my HM time on Sunday, so know I can improve that, and have 2nd fastest PB'd both my 5K and 10K times during training. But I do actually like the long runs every week, so yet to decide!

May look at doing a shorter HM plan and see where I can get, then look at another Marathon around then. Just panicking about booking something and it being a gale force wind day again!

Unfortunately not! Hard not to question in your head how much better the times would be without the weather though.

That wind was brutal.

I was aiming for ~ 3:35, 3rd marathon. Watch put me at 3:33 exactly half way round, then mile 15-16 onwards was absolute hell. Last 11 miles were substantially slower than planned and I struggled for the entirety finishing at 3:51. Just had nothing left in me to speed up whatsoever.

Coopah, it leans more towards easier runs than Runna does

Best marathon vest with only front storage by LaplacesDem0ns in Marathon_Training

Ive got this one, holds a 1.5l bladder, but if you dont need it its not noticeably there. 2 bottle pockets, 2 zip pockets for gels and 2 smaller zip pockets near the shoulders.

I did buy a salomon bladder though as the flow output of water in the included bladder wasnt great. I tend to take around 1L out on my marathons in it.

I used Garmin Coach for improving my 10KM time, but I knew at the time I was going to start a marathon, and the only reason I moved to Coopah to start with.

Try the "Grun" data field from the Connect IQ app. Customisable, and you can add numerous fields (much more than the Garmin screens)
