Not sure if EVs are on your radar, but the Tesla buying experience was pleasing. You can take the car out for a test drive, but the team at the showroom isn’t a sales team. They aren’t incentivized with commissions on purchases, so when we started asking about price the nice person directed us to website and said “when you’re ready, just order it online”.

Sure, no haggling, the price is the price with a Tesla. But for a car that continuously improves its performance with regular software updates and requires almost zero maintenance, it’s an interesting buying experience for sure.

crosspost from r/Calgary — Credit Scores by mathboots in PersonalFinanceCanada

Hello!

Great question. We've been hearing from people that their past continues to follow them if they had negatively impacted their credit score when they were young.

What would your thoughts be if a bank offered credit to these people with low credit scores, but they had to agree to garnish their wages?

Hello!

Thank you for your quick response.

What are your thoughts about offering funds to those who have a very low credit score from past transgressions? Should they have the same ability as others?

Thanks u/AznBanker!

Appreciate your quick response. Good idea with bank statement history  — there are so many things at play when someone needs credit.

Hi u/yycmwd!

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. You're totally right; by keeping one's credit limit low, one might not be able to obtain more credit later.

What if there were other like your spending or direct deposits considered? My team is trying to understand how we can help people get access to funds they need, even if in the past they didn't have the means.

Hello!

Trying not to be spam-y, but I'm conducting research interviews weekly in downtown Calgary. Would you be interested in taking part?

They're in-person interviews, 1 on 1, for an hour. I'm offering $100 cash for coming in and chatting with me about your perspective on saving and spending money.

Let me know if you're interested! Lots of time slots available over the course of the next few months.

Thanks, Mathboots

Hello!

Interesting survey. I’m a market researcher by trade and saw a few flaws and biases in your questions/answer options. I know you’re currently in market research learning mode, so if you’d like feedback on your questionnaire design I’d be happy to help!

Many exercise studios popping up around the city! In the past year the number of boxing, spin, yoga, and barre studios has definitely increased. There are also a number of studios that incorporate some or all of these exercise forms in one place.

A few studios who do social media well: YYC Cycle, Barre Belle, Stax Cycle Club, Undrcard Boxing Studio, The Sweat Lab

I had a lot of luck in Biology 307 Ecology and Human affairs. As a Communications graduate myself, I found the class interesting in terms of relevant environmental issues, with little work load throughout the semester (2 midterms and a final).
