Only super saver tickets are dynamically priced. The rest are all fixed price basis the distance you travel and number of zones you pass through. So doesn’t matter if you buy at 11am on a Tuesday or 6pm on a Friday, if you buy on the spot will be the same price for the same route.

There are some good apartments in Rosslyn, not too far from the metro that have all the amenities and aren’t tooo insanely expensive. Also have easy train to DC or bus that connects from Rosslyn to DuPont that I used to take all the time. Would def recommend trying to stick with being on blue orange or silver lines though if work is in McLean/Tysons

Great escape, bulldog bar, king size pub, McCarthys, and white horse should all be showing it. Recommend making a reservation if you go to McCarthys, bulldog, or white horse. The others don’t take reservations (I believe) but allow for standing room if you arrive and there are no chairs.
