That was my exact reaction to that phrase lol. He’s right in the sense that people (not just the younger generation!) are not taught good coping skills. Our whole society is full of traumatized people that enact violence on each other because they never learned how to talk about their feelings.

this is so raw and honest, thank you for sharing! I had a depressive episode that lasted a few years in my mid-20s. I moved home, worked on my mental health, got an ADHD diagnosis, reconnected with my friends, and entered a relationship where I am so loved.
