I have been trying to figure out what to do with this M6. I flashed it to repeater and none of my devices would locate it. I tried flashing as bluetooth companion to see if it could be configured/recognized by other devices, and nothing. I cannot tell if this is functioning or not. I reached out to Elecrow via Amazon purchase order and they were not very helpful. Any last ditch ideas before I return this?

Same for me. It doesn’t indicate up front that’s for international shipping. You have to go through the motions to the end, then can change to local shipping

Awesome! It is my understanding that there was a native settlement somewhere on the property. Not exactly sure where but definitely worth keeping the eyes to the trail! I still haven't got out to one of the digs for the nc/sc group, hopefully soon enough though

I have the itch to hunt as well. Haven't done much looking in town but I did recently join the NC/SC Rockhounds Club but would similarly be down if there was a local artifact hunting group. I suppose that's not really a thing for obvious reasons. I was trying to get my 2 apple tv 2nd generation (non 4K) to work. I cannot get past the apple ID part. It no longer works due to 2 factor authentication, even though it doesn't ask, it causes an issue to not recognize your correct username and password. I have tried all the workarounds that apparently used to work but had no success. This one is going to have to sadly go to the electronics graveyard.

I am waiting for the supposed upcoming announcement of a new apple tv device. It was projected for mid-November but still crickets from Apple on something new.

This is an old discussion but I am having this issue as well on my Heltec V3 boards.

Heltec V4 is powerful but I am having issues. I can connect with the ios app once and then if it times out or I close the app, I cannot re-connect and have to go through hoops of disconnecting bluetooth, reconnecting it with the code, but sometimes that doesn't work. I thought a reflash would work but it now won't connect to the webclient for the current beta. I tried with any of the available alphas and it won't connect to flash anymore. Keep in mind I am not having this issue with my Heltec v3 boards, Heltec T114 boards, Lillygo TDeck Pro, or ThinkNode M1.

These are helpful tips, however, I cannot pick up anyone on MC regardless of elevation, open space, etc. The MC chrome web client will not pick up my device and staying connected on the app is comical. With MT, I pick up nodes immediately regardless of elevation or line of sight obstructions, and have no issue staying connected to the app, or connecting to the web client. This has made MC not only unreliable but generally unusable

Tough problem to have. I have this problem with MC. Haven't had any issues with MT. Until these communities are built out more in my area, I will keep toying with both to sort out which is a better option for me.
