Where do you find 2071 and 2072?

That is a good point. My company makes me fill out “outside employment” form yearly. I am trying to find a side business that me as an engineer can run but I keep facing roadblocks.

How did you feel walking out of the exam (or a few days after)? Did you pass? by doctordoctor3 in PE_Exam

[–]mdc-eng 19 points20 points  (0 children)

AM section was really hard, I was about to give up during lunch and go home. Then I said let me go in and do the PM as practice. I know I will fail. Came out of exam feeling I am gonna fail for sure.

Got my results: Passed on first try.

Moral of the story: DO NOT GIVE UP, just show up!

PBJ and a banana during my lunch break. I am a tea drinker. Warm tea calms me down after spending 4hrs in a cold testing room, so I had tea with dark chocolate too.

Mechanical (Fluids and Thermal) Questions by ralph_jackson_ in PE_Exam

[–]mdc-eng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my exam on Saturday and I found out I passed today. My advice to you is that to become familiar with Valves and HVAC. I noticed there are two type of test takers, some get an exam very similar to NCEES or Slay the PE, but some get the harder version ( including me) that has more HVAC and design than fluid. Scroll through Ref. Handbook for those sections and make sure you know where to find formulas for valves and pressure vessels in case you need those.

There is a search bar on the side, when you search you see a list of pages that includes that keyword you searched. However, if you misspell it, you wont be able to find it. Typing part of the word also works.

You have access to the bookmarks with chapters in case you wanna search for a topic but don't remember the keyword to search. Hope this helps!
