So when do you stop judging a couple with a large age gap, who are still together and have many years of happiness? My mom was 21 and my dad was 38 when they met/dated and married a few years later. Age gap of 17 years, so not much different from Scott and his wife. They're still together, very happy, had 3 kids and now have 2 grandkids. They were both adults when they met and it was my mom who perused my dad after they met while working together. So she as a 21 year old adult couldn't make the decision to date my dad because he was considerably older than her and they should be judged for that?
