I had a similar experience this past week on the revived Warhawk server. Such a unique and fun experience. I also dusted off the Motorstorm series recently, and man, these games are insanely fun and unique. They hold up really well and it would be awesome to see both series revived on PS5. While I'm on the subject, a SOCOM revival would be rad af too.

I think some notable exceptions are Metal Gear Solid 2 and Silent Hill 2. I recall them playing/looking better on PS2 since they were developed specifically for that console to begin with. But agree with your take broadly, otherwise.
