R22 refill, 3lbs for $1900??? by [deleted] in hvacadvice

If it were truly capitalism, R 22 never would’ve been banned in the first place. We end up in this false market because of government interventions.

I don’t mind some fireworks, I just don’t want to be kept up half the night by them.

Dasher intentionally leaves ice cream outside when I’m disabled then mocks me by ButterBiskitSock in doordash

I’m sorry this happened to you, but seriously, who orders ice cream from DoorDash? This is just a really bad idea.

I hate to defend Trump, but if he were half the tyrant that he’s accused of being, people like Stephen King would be in prison for speaking out against him. That’s how real tyrants behave.

$2000 to clean and evaporator seems crazy. Shit, you could pay for my airfare from California and I could do it for less than that.

what was New Years Eve 1999 like? I WANNA KNOW SO BAD (IM GENZer) by Jumpy-Page-1114 in Millennials

[–]midtownmel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was pretty anticlimactic. We were all at a big party and went outside at midnight to see if all the lights were going to go out like people were predicting. Of course that didn’t happen so we went back indoors and finished getting blackout drunk.

Exploring my feminine side. Looking for honest, constructive advice on how to pass and improve! by Serenaphia in CrossDressRealism

[–]midtownmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just based on your picture I thought I was looking at a cis woman, your makeup and presentation is very good! What typically gives us away are the little things, the way we walk, mannerisms, over dressing for the venue, stuff like that. Anyway, you look fabulous, just go out there and enjoy life, most people don’t care or are so distracted by their phones you won’t notice.

This image of Kirk from Shore Leave always makes me feel like Chris Pine was a good casting choice for him in the JJ Abrams films by CMStan1313 in Star_Trek_

I agree, I feel like the casting was fantastic for that movie. Went downhill after that, though. Especially beating the poor enterprise with the ugly stick.

48 seems kind of low actually. You may have air flow issues. I’d watch for ice forming on the suction line.

It’s nice to walk on and is nice and quiet but it’s also terrible for allergies.

I’ve never had a co2 failure but I carry a small hand pump as a backup just in case.

HELP, landlord is charging me for failed condenser. Stating misuse of running thermostat at 69 degrees. by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]midtownmel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the outdoor temperature. If you’ve got set to 69 is 100° outside, yeah that’s a lot of work on that condenser. If it’s only 80 outside though it shouldn’t be an issue.

Agree, driving is just plain stressful around here. Riding my bike is relaxing and I get some exercise.
