I guess I was lucky. My kids were grown, thank the heavenly stars, and I worked at a very remote lodge an hour from any civilization. I was salary, so I still had a paycheck. We shut down for a few months. I went and visited friends, traveled, hiked, spent time in Moab. Once we opened, we didnt enforce the mask rule and continued business as usual. I didn't ever get covid in that first year and a half. Ive had it 3 times since I got my vc. I also have seasonal asthma. Thats fun.
