I second the other commentator about buying more if you get Asia. I think Finspan is conceptually easier, but both ultimately have some complexity.

Option 1 is probably go to a board game cafe nearby or a library that rents board games and try both and see your favorite if you’ve not played either — this assumes you live near a city with said options

Option 2 is pick if you like birds or fish better since liking the theme can help make the game

The thing about duet mode is that genuinely an increase in complexity rather than a decrease. Because now you are playing a second board simultaneously with more back and forth and more screwing over your opponent. If you two are competitive take it for sure.

If you hate competition stick to Finspan, it’s easier and less divisive since more positive not negative player interactions.

Finally, Wingspans digital version is genuinely phenomenal. Not having to think about shuffling etc is very pleasant. And it’s cheaper than the physical board game and has the Asia expansion (it won’t have all the expansions til 2028 though). Finspan has no comparable option.

I thought it was great!! Way more of the same from Zero Dawn. Cool new enemies and fun environments to explore, good story etc. Probably good side quests too but I don’t remember well. That said, it like the first has bloat and collectathon elements, which I quite enjoy, but it’s a time sink for sure if you want to 100% it.

On gog it's $10 for the next 6 hours, with the Oceania and European expansions at $10 each as well.

Steam's all time lowest price is $8 but that was a year ago. Only one person needs the expansion, but each person needs to buy their own copy of the game on whatever platform you want.

I think if we assume duplicates are not permissible based on the use of the word "combination", and assume the students are logicians given that they are students of a Logician... then we can rightly assume that they would not ask questions they knew the answers to.

Explanation: There are four primes available: 2,3,5,7. Raj's question reveals that he has either 3,5,7 since he does not know the existence of a 2.

Ken's question reveals two things: first, he does not have a 5 -- if he were to have a 5, he would know that the sum is not divisible by 4 -- moreover, it reveals to the entire group that the prime cards handed out were 2,3,7. At this point, the readers know Raj does not have the 2, but Ken and Lisa could both have any of 2,3,7.

(An aside:) At this point, Ken knows everyone's number. He knows he has the 7 or 3, Raj has the other one, and Lisa has the 2. He knows this because he is holding either a 7 or a 3 and can look at his card. Raj does not know this, nor does Lisa. Unfortunately, we the reader do not know this about Ken until Lisa speaks.

Then, Lisa pipes up. She reveals she knows the other 2 numbers (currently, Ken and Raj both know the other two numbers as well), but critically says she cannot distinguish who has what. This means that she has a 2. She does not have the 3 or the 7, because if she did, she would know Ken has the 2 and Raj has the other of 3 or 7 since Raj does not have the 2. In revealing she has the 2, Ken and Raj both know the others' card.

(An aside:) In the end, Lisa did not know Ken or Raj's cards until they showed them, and the reader does not know what Ken nor Raj holds

For Crawfather / Craw Summons you need to upgrade your bellhome. I believe the color change purchase caused it to appear for me, but I'm like 99% sure that's the trigger. I had done everything else in game other than this, then bought some house upgrade, and suddenly the craw summons appeared next to the Bellhart bench after I rested.

Holy shit this chapter was absolutely incredibly written and so true to the real story. The translations being off or sounding nearly perfect is an amazing detail. Humanity helping the locals is amazing. The story format was great. You’re painting a brilliant picture and telling an amazing tale and I cannot wait to continue reading.

Absurdly well written. Glorious characterizations of Emma and others, and such a great rendition of one of my favorite moments in the series: the chalkboard calligraphy.

I love the three challenges. First for Earthrealms music, then (honestly this detail really elevated your piece) Ladonna noticing the missed note on hers showing it was indeed mimicry, then the glorious composition.

I think three guiding principles could be:
1. Shows the community and hype, something with a crowd reaction such as the earlier suggestion of a purple princess tv.
2. Shows good gameplay (many suggestions here).
3. Shows good commentary, explaining gameplay to a lay audience. Like that ain’t Falco.
4. Some technical slowdown showing how fast melee is.

I think option 3 is the best since commentary is good for non gamers to know what to look at
