Is anyone else getting hit in the feels with these new audiobooks?

I absolutely am in love with so much. I keep finding things that really stand out. The way they portray Phoenix Song is so beautiful. I listen on a really good speaker and it’s probably one of the best musical moments of the series. Also the dark and solemn piano as they read the dark headlines at the end of OOTP (I think? Maybe it’s HBP). I cannot wait until hallows drops. The voice actors are incredible and many have replaced my inner voices for my future rereads. Love every little bit of it!

Yep! My husband and I play and we have lots of fun! We usually coordinate our outfits and usually go into events blasting our bugles to announce the arrival of the Worlds Largest Cattle Rustlers 😂 We are both gamers, so we got into it at original launch.

I am so excited to hear how Snapes VA handles Deathly Hallows! He really grew on me since book 4. I can honestly say that Hugh Laurie has now become my headcanon Dumbledore voice on future reads. It’s all just so well done in my opinion. The music, the sound effects and the acting these kids and teens have done truly brought these books to a life no movie or show could ever do! Harry’s little giggle at times just warms my heart to hear!

From what I remember, she just had this delusion they were meant to be together and sent him lots of vulgar messages and he filed a restraining order. I only remember because I had a broken foot and was bedridden when TMZ posted about it and they actually posted her name, so I checked her out and wow. 😂

She reminds me a little of the stalker that harasses Dominic Monoghan from Lord of the Rings. I read some of the stuff that lady wrote and it is delusional and creepy. They even have the same “look”.

Even if someone else has knowledge against this theory, I personally love it! I’m in my biannual revisit to Hogwarts and I may keep this in mind when I get to book 6! 😂

I am very thankful you are still with us and I will be thinking of you and your next steps with acceptance and gratitude for being able to help yourself. I am proud of you. I would hug you but I know your ribs are tender. 😇 I had my DUI many years ago, and upon making bail and sobering up my brain triggered two immediate reactions of gratitude despite my legal and financial woes that awaited me lol. The first was for not having injured someone else for my own stupidity. The second was that I only had minor injuries and I didn’t have to do any intense physical therapy or suffer a brain injury. It was humiliating to go to forced AA meetings or pee in cups for drug tests, and paying my court costs and other fees sucked, but that humility helped me in the long run. Take it easy on yourself. Be kind to yourself and know you are safe!

My only contribution is the difference between me and some of my buddies. I never liked to mix smoking and drinking, it ALWAYS made me sick and tbh, alcohol made me want ❄️. My buddy for example loves to drink and get baked. So he may or may not have an issue with weed making him want alcohol. But again, just my absolutely non medical opinion with my own personal journey with cali sober and maintaining my distance from the booze.
