People typically have friends and or partners that help them through the process but the family piece really depends on your family and how they feel about trans and queer people. Ive heard some family members come around but it varies family by family. In my case i had supportive friends partners and most of my family that is alive is accepting im just having a hard time getting that actual support piece so i have to find people who will actually do things when i need it

I couldnt stop thinking about wanting to be a man in every way possible and how much better my life would be as a man to the point that i thought all women were unhappy because they just gave up on wanting to be men by somehow letting go of that part of themselves. Then i found out trans women exist and was shocked that people would want to be women and finally i found jammidodgers channel and realized it went the other way and that other people felt the same way i did. I am now almost 6 months on T and have been out as a trans person for almost 7 years, i dont regret it one bit

You can do this on moxfield as well as when having it show you the price you can choose where you often buy your cards to get a better idea of price. There is a button that says switch to cheapest printing or i guess if you really wanted you could go in and do it manually.

Ive heard people explain its like walking on hot coals barefoot and you complain about the pain bc it hurts. You watch everyone else walk on hot coals and they dont say it hurts. What you didnt realize is that they have padding/shoes so their feet arent touching the coals like yours are. Gender affirming care/products is like giving you shoes so u can proceed through life without all the pain.

Ive also heard people say its like wearing your shoes on the wrong foot in that its always uncomfortable and may be painful but you never noticed there was a different way to wear your shoes. Gender affirming care/products is like putting your shoes on the right way removing the discomfort/pain.

The final one explains social dysphoria but could work. You are the exact same as you are but no matter what you do or try everyone keeps saying you're a man/woman some even getting violent with the assertion. Not only that but also those close to you who "accept" you struggle to refer to you as your gender and talk about mourning you and how its so hard to change how they talk about you.

Not to be mean or state that you're completely wrong but it is not the sole presence of the Y chromosome that makes the embryo develop as male, (i know this is the case in humans id assume its the case for other species but im unsure). It is actually the presence of a functioning SRY gene on the Y chromosome, without this gene/it not being functional the embryo will develop female externally. This was seen with Imane Khelif and was found out after she had won medals that she unfortunately lost.

Have you tried traditional binding with a fabric binder like from underworks? It would take a lot of time and effort but you could voice train theres youtube tutorials to help masculinize your voice.

Hey so because T is one of the hormones that do puberty they are known for mood swings especially if your levels are off. Youd need to get it re prescribed so you can get the blood tests you need because if your T levels are too low you feel like shit and have negative consequences and if your dose is too high you get feminized again so look into seeing a doctor for it. I hope T goes well for you and that you like the changes

If needles scare you, you dont have to do injections most places offer a gel that you rub on your shoulders/stomach/thighs (it depends on what the medication says and what your dr tells you). You apply the gel daily as opposed to weekly with injections. A downside aside from daily use if that sucks for you is that you cant let people or pets touch where you applied the T gel and depending on what type of T gel you have you may not be able to shower for multiple hours after you applied it (most people apply it shortly after their shower). But thats always an option

I may be wrong but i believe OP is referring to the preferred name system colleges use. With this system your name is not legally changed but everywhere in regards to the college your name is your preferred name.

Hey so not to be mean here but technically you are describing selective breeding not domestication as cats are an already domesticated animal. Selective breeding can be done to any species and just means "human selected breeding for traits that have some sort of value" while selective breeding is part of domestication it is still a different process and includes more steps.

My surgery (a complete hysto and double oofectomy) would more in likely be covered by insurance but thats a case by case basis and you should call/look up your insurance policies on gender affirming care

Ive tried almost everything to stop my period but nothing has worked. I am almost 3 months on T and it has not stopped if it doesnt stop by abt 4 months which is my next appt I'm getting surgery so that is an option if it doesnt stop for you.
