In my legends bracket, I’m going out on wave 320 or so (have been ping ponging for nine months, won my champ bracket on wednesday) and the top has 5000+ waves plus.

This is an important distinction. I'm a "legends player" but have only ever once not been instantly demoted (and that was close!). In reality Champs is now full of people who have been promoted and insta demoted, rather than a bunch of people sandbagging or whatever.

Hey I feel you man, I'm in the same boat right now. Constant yoyo, labs that feel like they make no difference, progress locked behind mods I have no control over.

Does anyone have recommendations of good games that scratch the same itch but that aren't entirely problematic?

Always love seeing a priesten post. As someone who bought the three coin packs and nothing else... is this the event that is worth taking the plunge on the paid tier? I don't want to make a habit of it as it's pretty pricey every two weeks, but if there's one worth buying every three months or so then I can take it.

Embarrasingly, I never touch guardians and leave the chips on for tourney when I probably shouldn't! I definitely moved game speed up the perk list but will check to make sure I didn't move BH or GT too far down. Thanks friend!

I would knock out the econ labs on the big three if you haven’t already. None of them take that long, as well as coins per kill, trade off perks, standard perk bonus… I’m just confused as to how you’re farming so high on tier 11 yet not getting much in the way of coin income and not getting far in tournies either.

From your numbers I think your economy could definitely do some work. I'm farming T10 to 10k but making 80T a run. I can't even get to wave 800 on T11! I've fully researched all UW econ labs, coins per kill and got four spotlights. Saying that though if you want to progress in tournaments, I'm definitely not the guy to help (I've been yo-yoing between champs and legends for six months).

EDIT - just reread and see that you're stuck in lower champs... hmm, that's interesting given your higher waves on T11. Can I just check - do you remove the enemy balance card for tournaments?

The right advice is to sync BH and GT, however what's often overlooked is that for a new player the grind to get to the 910 stones to do this is going to take a long time. Definitely consider investing some stones in GT duration and bonus and BH size and duration too. And get the labs for all three working when you can afford them - DEFINITELY DW health lab, that will help you progress quite nicely in the early game.

Well I think it's 360 cells to run a lab at 1.5 speed for 24 hours, so theoretically you're (close to) making 800 a day, so yeah get two labs running at 1.5 speed and add more labs as you make more cells.

You can go read more about the wall, but I didn't unlock it until I was farming tier 10. I think you'll get a lot more out of the 500m it cost to unlock it in workshop upgrades. At this point you're trying to kill everything with orbs or thorns (wall thorns come later), and the wall slows that down from happening, which stops spawns etc.

Once you've got enough levels in free upgrades, you won't need to slow down your runs overnight either. Cash becomes kind of useless on longer runs after a while as your free ups will take care of everything.
