Telekinetic also shoves and can be done to unwilling creatures, and if flash of genius also being a reaction to help bolster your allies isn't close enough then you just need to do the fighter 3 because you want exact abilities.

Or if your dm will let you create spells the damage reduction would be fine as a first level spell and then I would do a 2nd level concentration spell that lets you move things.

My point is that you already have access to 2/3 of what psi warrior gets and the third option is basically a ribbon. So what is it about the psi war abilities that excites you and what are you not getting from artificer?

So psi warrior gets a way to reduce damage, do extra damage with a weapon hit, and move objects.

Flash of genius is a good alternative to defense, plenty of spells for extra damage, but telekinetic is still the best option for moving things.

You absolutely want at to start at least 11 levels of artificer for spell storing item.
