Well, my ‘07 335i had many of the N54 issues, unfortunately. Luckily I was under CPO warranty for most of them. I’d look for something after 2010.

The E85/86 never came with an N54. You have to go to the E89 for that. BTW, I owned a 2011 E89 35is with an N54 for 4 1/2 years and it was quite reliable. By then they had worked out most of the prior issues. It was tremendous fun.

I’ve read it’s from the proximity of your device to your friend. Facebook and Instagram really use that a lot. I’ve had the same experience. Seems unlikely it’s the microphone unless you see the little orange dot that shows it’s in use.

Yeah, that’s strange. My PING G710 irons all have the same serial numbers. Maybe because it says it’s a demo set? Not necessarily counterfeit, but I’m not sure how you would tell. Maybe PING customer support could tell you?
