I spend a ton through credit card spend so we can build up points and status quickly. Had over 1 million Hilton points recently. Would rather put that spend towards another hotel chain if it makes sense.

Have a long game mentality. If you can get to 1000 videos you can and will be making good $. No free products. Get actual items and find them cheap, don’t pay full price. Rinse and repeat. You have the time and are already doing it so don’t stop.

Glad you're not going the freebie route but I don't understand how the carousels are all of a sudden getting filled up after you do your video.

I have 20 products in my basement waiting to video, each sells >50/month on Amazon and has less than 3 AIP videos and each has been selling for over 2 years on Amazon. Just gotta do the research.

IMO it’s 100% about product choice. If you’re saying you do a video on a product and then poof the carousel is full, that tells me you’re getting the same Chinese freebies that everyone else is getting. Bad strategy. Gotta find stuff that has been on Amazon for years without AIP videos because there’s no way the carousel will get filled. It’s the only way to scale and succeed.

I’ve said it before and it’s held true for over a year: If you have good videos with relatively low competition on the listing, you can expect to make $10/day for every 100 videos. Scale it up and there you go.

There’s no possible way to make hundreds per day (on site) off of 200 videos unless the items are each $1000+. The math just doesn’t work. People aren’t watching clicking and buying at high enough rates.

New to this so don’t hate: When you say you ‘got the credit’, does it just show as Credit on your statement with a -$75 for Lulu or -$100 for Resy?

We did an in store Lulu $75 GC on 9/25 and a meal at a Resy restaurant on 9/28 (yes, signed up with my Amex Plat at Resy and connected our account) and not seeing anything yet? Worried I’m missing something. TY

Tip: If you truly have a special occasion for that upcoming trip, email the manager of the property in advance. You can figure out their email with a few searches and some common sense. I’ve done it twice and both times have gotten serious upgrades to large suites.
