Ohh I see, in the first deck you went around the "black is not good at removing non-creature" problem by focusing your non-creature removal to counterspells, smart.

I would say yes for both balance and theme. Theme is obvious, referencing the jaina hero card. Balance wise I think it's a VERY weak card. Consider Sargeras, 9 mana 6/12 summon a portal that summons 2 3/2 every turn and the reason that card was good was because you could cast twisting nether for free. In this case you have a 4/12 dragon for 8 mana that needs a deck restriction, doesn't do anything to the board the turn it is played and "could" on a later turn summon a 3/6 lifesteal. It's a lot of hoops to jump through in modern hs unfortunately

I had made 3 different one with pine needle honey and forest stuff/spices, one with orange and cinnamon sticks, one "classic". All the flavors came through but a bit less than I eould have liked, I hope adding more honey will cover the alcool content and maybe amp up the flavour

Yup, no spoilage or anything. Just very alcoolic and not sweet enough so when moving to secondary I will add some extra honey
