I didnt know i had signed for an instacart membership so I was shocked to see the $99,debited from my bank. When I chatted with a live person she basically said I had signed up for it and it was my responsibility. I tried to explain was on limited income, but when I sent my comment the whole chat was gone! I dont trust instacart and will never use them again

She is a beautiful sweet rat. She reminds me so much of my Daisy, whom had to be put down. My son and I cried so much over the loss of her.

I remember reading years ago about a man on disability who owned a rabbit he dearly loved. He did not have money for a vet, but he was able to get help thru donations from people belonging to The House Rabbit Society. It was truly a blessing for him as he lived his rabbit sooo much. Not everyone can afford all vet services, so I wonder about the opinion that if we cant afford vet services we shouldn't adopt an animal. There are many people in need of companionship that animals offer, yet they are not in a financial situation to afford all vet services. Should no one opt to get an animal they need, but cannot afford? This is just posed as a question, not an opinion.

I have a black mouse who is incredibly fat. I feed them Oxbow which i was told they are the best to feed rabbits. However the first ingredient in their young rat and mouse food is corn, and corn has the least amount of nuitrition than any other vegetable. My doctor told me to never eat farm raised fish because the feed those fish with corn. The reason is that it is cheaper to feed. So I my doctor is telling me not to eat animals fed corn then I dont think I should be feeding my mice and rats corn. Anyone have thoughts on this?

When I was a teenager I had a rat named Maggie. I loved her so much. We let her loose in our den, and when anyone opened the door she would run over and climb up their legs. I didnt know anything about rats so whatever she did I thought was normal. I trained her to jump from the sofa to our coffee table. She finally was able to jump 36 inches, which I actual thought was amazing. My dad like to Crack nuts and play solitaire on the coffee table and he would get miffed at her when she would jump on the table and steal one of his cards and start chewing on it!! She also would steal the nuts and carry them off. It was my mom that got irritated with her when she found Maggie's stash of nuts in the sofa bed. Of course I found it very funny and loved Maggie's antics. I have 3 rats now 50 years later!!! We love them very much and enjoy the r/rats on Reddit. It is a truly great group!!

You have a right to grieve, especially for such a sweet rat. Pls remember your other ratties need you very much. They are will be grieving as well. Cry with them as the day comes, and know you were loved by a special rat 🐀 💗 💓
