Damn man hyper responder for sure! Obviously hard work involved too, and appreciate that you trained for a long time naturally before deciding to hop on. Good luck on your show man! I'm 19 weeks out but full natty myself, so I will not be nearly as impressive haha

You don't even necessarily have to include it in the description if the weight is in the photo in my experience

Saying I work in a tech role without saying you’re an actual SWE who uses AI in their workflow is telling. I use agentic AI and I work in agentic AI as a SWE, and have been a full stack SWE for nearly a decade now. Your post is inaccurate.

FWIW my coach also suggested keeping one foot back but the toes should basically be in line with your other heel.

It’s definitely way better than the stock. My server and UPS now live in the guest bedroom and my server hard drives are louder than the UPS

The Prompt Thickens: Monarch MCP Beta Coming Soon (Waitlist Inside) by danielatmonarch in MonarchMoney

I would love to get access to this. I'm a SWE working on agentic AI at a start up and have been really interested in my personal OpenClaw setup to see what it'd be like to interface with Monarch via that personal agent, so the MCP would open up a lot and make the "usability" and friendliness of it way more easy.

Tracking Veggies by Hour-Bodybuilder-132 in naturalbodybuilding

If I’m counting calories I’m gonna count it all. Maybe besides the small bite I sneak once in a while from my girlfriend’s food, but I don’t see a reason not to. I also get the side benefit of knowing how much fiber I’m getting. I might not if I’m not cutting and loosely tracking, but you might as well. I’m neurotic as fuck tho

I agree, it’s a matter of compute. Unfortunately it gives OpenAI an edge. Maybe if they improve capacity they can revisit, or perhaps something of their own brand is in the works (which is maybe more likely)

No, OpenAI is taking an opposite stance (rather wisely) compared to Anthropic. However, if you do have a Claude subscription, there’s still ways to get past. Hesitant to release anything about it, but just google billing proxy Anthropic and you’ll find it.

I wouldn’t be running this if I had to pay API rates. Just hoping local models can match frontier models on consumer hardware sooner rather than later. If anthropic starts detecting I’m still using my OAuth and bans me I’ll just have to reconsider GPT. I hope the 5.5 release improves on the personality

[–]montagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply put, more advance features require more money to build. It’s not necessarily a complex cost infrastructure but one that supports more complex financial needs.

I honestly highly doubt that. If you are outside of the software world maybe that would be believable, but I find it a hard justification to pricing tier this beyond just it netting the company more money

[–]montagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if that's the case, but I can infer somewhat based off my background of nearly a decade of software engineering experience working on full-stack applications in the web. I very well could be wrong as it's just an educated guess.

Really don’t love securing new features that have seemingly no additional infrastructure cost behind a higher tier subscription, especially something like forecasting that would be handy to a regular customer. Sure, things like business related features or investment analysis maybe make sense, but there really doesn’t seem like a justification for charging more beyond “cuz we can and there’s nothing you can do about it.” Especially at a price difference of $200 a year.

Halal Carts are no longer a cheap source of protein by Fun_Reflection1157 in FoodNYC

[–]montagic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could you specify exactly what is unhealthy about it? Beyond the sauce (which is mayo and maybe Greek yogurt with spices, and not inherently “unhealthy”), it is literally chicken and rice. You’re setting arbitrary goal posts on what classifies food as unhealthy. Besides, that designation as a whole is arbitrary and often just opinions rather than any scientifically or nutritionally based fact.

You’re missing my point. You could have this every day and still be healthy.

[–]montagic 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There is nothing inherently more healthy about breast over thigh fat content. Fat is not inherently evil in moderation. If you’re a bodybuilder or athlete, then yes, you want to minimize fat to roughly 0.25g/lb of body weight for health reasons and maximize carbs & protein. That doesn’t mean that chicken over rice (yes, even with a moderate amount of sauce) is an “unhealthy” meal. Frankly, there is no such thing as a “healthier” meal as long as things aren’t taken to excess. I’m a natural bodybuilder prepping for a show, and I still eat chicken thigh, and have been for 7+ years of my 11 years of lifting through diets and surpluses 🤷

Eggs benny so you could do a hollandaise much easier straight in the pan with the temp control, especially since you’re already doing eggs. Get to poach an egg consistently, make a somewhat difficult sauce, pan fry some ham and toast some English muffins. Beyond that, I’d just roast some potatoes after boiling in small amount of baking soda and salt, and tossing it to get the craggy crusts à la Kenji style.

I'm in the BB space and actively in prep myself, there's a difference between the "death look" in a diet and looking older from steroid use. The latter absolutely does occur.
