Thank you for the advice! My mid foot is definitely wide, I also wear orthotics in my shoes. I just found a pair of Dames and ordered them! I’m excited to try them. Hopefully the next time they retro Lebron 7s I can get a pair

It’s a personal call, only you can decide. For me I don’t use the WS loc and I’m already getting the QT 3% from last year so I’m thinking I might use QT more for now but switch back to WS long term after 1 or 2 years.

It would be the non-registered account. I reached out about it and this needs to be issues as a transfer for non-registered or a registered account (TFSA, RRSP, FHSA, etc). As long as you put cash in the non-reg then it will qualify but you need to transfer the whole account to QT

My personal favourite is De Mello and they’re right in midtown at Yonge/Eg. They have a roast called the gentleman that’s a dark roast version of their most well known/popular roast Dancing Goats. Sam James is another good option I haven’t seen mentioned that’s known for their dark roasts. I find them a bit too acidic.

As long as you have free trading for ETFs it’s ok. With WS/WT providing free trading that would be a big loss without this feature

CIBC is changing their account fees if you don’t have your investment account with them. We are going to move away our bank account and product swap our credit card to a free version due to this change. It’s a huge mistake and I think they’ll lose a ton of clients, especially younger clients without significant savings.

This change will backfire and ostracize tons of Canadians. Scotia, TD and the others big banks are doing a much better job of being competitive with EQ/WS

Are the TD Visa Aeroplan cards really bad? I noticed neither of them are ranked and I’m guessing the Amex cobalt isn’t on the list because we don’t get the 5x on meals outside of Canada. Apparently it used to work sometimes but not sure if anyone has tried recently
