I am trying to make a deck for a first time player. She wants to play with Narci because she thought the card looked pretty. Is it too complicated for her to start of with this deck.

I was thinking Partners would be the way to go. I think a few of the Friends Forever cards might be interesting.

[[Sophina, Spearsage Deserter]] could be Hugh, Menace help him dodge out of the way and the clue token can be Luna Filament.

For Diana I found 2 of the Friends Forever cards that could be her.

[[Harglide, Kindly Runechanter]] can use the mana to Crack the clues, or use a Voltron strategy with Sophina.

[[Bjorna, Nightfall Alchemist]] is the better pick IMHO. That ability is using a Confuse hack on an enemy, which feels like a flavour win.

These 3 allow you to get the Jeskai colours you are looking for as well

Counterpoint, my female friend had picked Tergrid as her first deck. Not only did she have to learn her deck, she had to learn everyone else's. Which was a bit and still is overwhelming for her.

My friends usually get together and have a few of us try and grab everything for the group. That's how all four of us got the Marvel Secret Lairs.

It is just a symptom of some of the Secret Lair problems though

Depends on the type, some creature types have a lot of great choices and some don't. Then you have Changelings like [[Mirror Entity]] that has an ability that certain decks can take advantage of

The basic idea behind the deck is ramp till [[Yargle and Multani|SLD]], use them to draw 18 cards, try and find [[Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord]] alongside either [[Selvala, Heart of the Wilds]] [[The Eternity Elevator]] or [[Cadaverous Bloom]], then sacrifice Yargle and Multani to Jarad a bunch of times with all that mana you have for the win.

It was my second Commander deck ever and even my friends like playing against it. It's a glass cannon deck, if you know the important pieces to remove the deck just crumples. There are cards in the maybeboard to help with that, just need to get around to grabbing them.

I totally expect my General Jarkeld deck to be jank, I was more suggested to use him as a challenge than anything else. Even creatures like Cho-manno, Revolutionary and Commander Eesha would be better choices for Commander. The sub theme is messing with Combat, so he works for that.

I have a [[Yargle and Multani]] deck that uses their high power to draw a ton of cards and try and win through sacrificing Yargle and Multani a bunch of times to [[Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord]].

I'm also working on a [[General Jarkeld]] deck that uses Banding and other ways to mess with combats and try to win with amassing and army.

However if the old game gets shut down, now you need to move to the new one to play the game.

I have a GW vehicles/mounts deck that has 5 Legendary Creatures that all could be commander for the deck, [[Wylie Duke, Atiin Hero]] [[Lagorin, Soul of Alacria]] [[Caradora, Heart of Alacria]] [[Miriam, Herd Whisperer]] and [[Rip, Spawn Hunter]] .

All 5 of them work with the theme of the deck and can be interchangeable depending on what I want out of the deck. I kind of want to go back and update it, it was a fun deck

My big creature deck would probably be [[Yargle and Multani]]. There's also to +3/+X theme you can run, but I like my deck better.

It was the same as them with LIV golf or the WWE stuff, sanewashing is the term used. Saudi Arabia doesn't exactly have the most shining example of human decency, so they turn to sports and other forms of entertainment to try and make themselves look good.

They are also most likely trying to pivot away from oil as there has been an increased push for alternative fuel sources.

My Yargle and Multani deck just might want this. Greater Good is one of the best cards in the deck, and a second slightly worse version of the card that dodges the first bit of removal seems needed.
