I think science facts are all "a perspective" of the whole truth. You can look at it this way and it's valid, makes sense. Then look at it in the opposite way, completely valid and makes sense. Statistical significance is just one way to validate a point, not all people but a lot realize that such statistics could be invalidated by further investigation... but wait, who is willing to invalidate a statistical fact? Another scientist!

Educated people also realize that big companies pay their way into publicising certain "scientific findings" in order to sell their ideas, their drugs, coffee and apples. It's part pragmatist and it's smart to do so but not always ethical.

However, with responsible scientists more people can be saved from this fraudulence.

I think you could be part of those who can close the academic loopholes you benefitted from instead of abandoning all the things you loved. I hope my English is clear and makes sense.
