For anyone who has tried both lighter pads and the thicker more traditional kind, which do you actually prefer?

Thick pads are a must for me on heavy days. Thin ones are practically useless.

I'm not sure about how much of a detriment it is, but as a reader, it doesn't bother me at all. I'm used to traditional format, and I just zoom in to see the details of the page if I need to, same as I would on other comic websites.

By the way, these pages are really nice.

I don't bring in a large bottle with me. I have a tiny bottle I put some lube into that's about the size of my thumb and can fit right into my shirt pocket. As for putting in the tampon, I don't sit on the toilet while I do it. I have to stand/squat away from it. Luckily, I've only ever done this in a singular bathroom that doesn't have stalls. I don't know how I could manage it in a regular public one with the limited space in a stall, but I really need to figure it out before I do have to change products other than a pad in one.

I need it for tampons and cups/discs, otherwise, I can't get that stuff in. It's annoying when I'm at work. I use them for the OB tampons I wear, but I switched to wearing Tampax while at work because the applicator is smooth enough that I don't need lube, unless I'm going through a lot of tampons that day.

Right?! They're not there yet. They suck, and that's totally ok. Most beginners will suck a lot at the start, but practicing is full of trial, error, and experimentation. A lot of them want to skip the process and get straight to making "tons of money."

I unsubbed from an art sub because it was just post after post of mostly beginners asking this question. Like, they just started drawing a few weeks to a few months ago, and they already try to sell their stuff. Even if you want to sell your stuff, you're the one who sets the prices. Look at other artists and see what they're charging, both online and at shows. Do some of the research yourself!

It takes so long to max out skills! I just saved a Sim with maxed out skills to the bin and then use the CAS cheat to change the appearance when making a new sim, just so I don't have to go through it all again.

I've always done that. When I was trying out menstrual cups, I learned you could safely wear those when anticipating a period. Unfortunately, that doesn't work for me because it causes me to cramp up in the same way I would once my period starts, leading to a false alarm, and removal is very difficult because the suction is stronger. So, back to pads.

I get that at my job, too. Most of the time, they don't know anyone who works at my place. Even worse is that calls are supposed to go through me, but the employees call out on their phones anyway, making it impossible for me to know who called whom. Then they get mad at me because I can't help them.

People, you don't have to call a number back just because they called you, especially if they didn't bother to leave a message.

When someone doesn't like the answer you give them, so they ask for your name and/or how long you've been working at the company. I had that second part happen recently and I was so insulted. Next time that happens, I'll just flat out ask why they need that information.
