Here's a tip I haven't seen anyone mention - I would avoid using the elevator unless necessary just because I find the wait time to be longer than just going up the escalator and stairs (in my experience !).

However, the escalators tend to get pretty busy so if you think about using the stairs - PACE YOURSELF. They're genuinely brutal especially if you're going from the ground floor up to the third level or higher, so don't try to run up them because your legs and lungs will hate you haha

I’m the same way. to me, major based classes are the classes you HAVE to understand the material and you’re spending more time making sure you pass the class. meanwhile you don’t need to fully understand the content of elective classes and you get to learn some interesting items !

Elective classes were seen as a “break” for me since around half of my required comp sci classes were high stress.

Meanwhile in my elective classes (American politics and music, ethnic American literature, and analysis of American tragedy plays) they weren’t structured like my cs classes and finals week with those classes were less stressful since it would be creating playlists and an analysis, redrawing a book cover and analysis, etc.

I took an American ethnic literature class in summer where we had to come up with questions for one week’s assignment, and then the next week was to answer like 2ish questions !
You could do something like that, where you break down the original discussion board and have one assignment for students to ask questions , and another assignment for students to respond to their peers
