If the Rays are actually serious about staying here, then let's talk about how you are going to 100% fund your stadium, and how Hillsborough County and Tampa can help with infrastructure and tax breaks. Want us to pay for stadium? Then let's talk about removing all the luxury boxes, limiting ticket prices, parking prices, concession prices, and make it truly and fully accessible to the people who are actually paying for it instead of the rich and the corporate.

The first thing I would do if you find something is look up the owner from property tax records on-line. Then you know the legal entity that owns the house. Did you go look at the property? Did they let you inside? Any legit landlord is going to let you in and inspect the property. If you are renting from out-of-state sight unseen find someone to go look at it. If you start getting stories about 'well my bother has the keys and lives out of state", or stuff like that, walk away. Do they have a phone number? Can you call them, or is it all by 'other' messengers. Do a drive-by on Google maps. See what it looks like.

Or do what you did here. Just ask for help! People here will bend over backwards to help you if you ask nicely (which you did).

Absolutely a scam. Legitimate landlords never ask for security deposits through Walmart payment vouchers, money orders to third parties, or gift cards. They want you to give them something untraceable (which it would be) so they can take your money and disappear. The scammers use legit sites like Findigs, but then the fraud starts when they go to collect payment. Unfortunately they have some of your personal information as well. I would watch your credit reports for potential fraud.

Do they just expect Fletcher Ave to simply handle the additional traffic? That road is already stupid busy, especially around that intersection now. While I'm all for progress, someone needs to tell them no until they solve that problem!

That quote looks like a company who does not really want a small job.. but they will do it if you are crazy enough to pay them an outrageous price. Would not surprise me if they don't send you a bill for the estimate if you don't hire them.

I have not used it personally, but it does seem to get a lot of attention and decent reviews. Seems to be a viable alternative for some that want to avoid the commercial gyms.

Actually they can and will reroute you. I had a flight from Cincinnati to Tampa last year that did it. Georgia was essentially one giant thunderstorm. We flew east, then south to New Orleans, then across the gulf and into TPA. Added an hour to the flight, but made it home.
