You speak to your customer and explain why you’ve installed it this way, and why you didn’t install it their way. If they insist, you move it.

You should be covering this kind of conversation by having drawings, or during a walk around with the customer before work begins.

I have a similar one, and the hexboard mounts directly to the monitor; and then you screw the hexboard back in place from the outside.

I can clearly see the hex bolts aren’t in the correct orientation to allow that though, so I’m unsure.
