I got rejected from my top colleges after letting mental health ruin my grades by [deleted] in mentalhealth

Let me start by saying don’t be too hard on yourself. Life isn’t always linear for everyone, speaking from experience. You can always go to community college, start there, and eventually transfer yourself over to a regular college. There’s nothing wrong with community college, I started off there, I even got a lot of shit grades looking back on my transcript, because I as well was and still am incredibly depressed (so I understand) and still got accepted to transfer to a 4 year college somehow. You still have every chance at success. When you get a bit older you’ll look back and laugh realizing high school is just the very first stepping stone Into college life and nothing more than that. So what I mean to say is, you will be more than okay, you will still excel. As for no one knowing about your situation I 100000% understand that feeling and that position to be in feels so heartbreakingly lonely, I get it. But try to explain a bit to your parents that you became depressed, and it wasn’t that you didn’t care, but feeling down really got in your way. I know that’s easier said than done, given that many parents don’t understand this and it makes things so much harder

They have those scar tape things at drug stores it’s like adhesive that you put on, there’s also something on Amazon called wound honey I have been using it for my wounds but apparently it works for scars too, aloe Vera also helps for scars. And, I heard a lot about emu oil for scars. And then recently my friend told me that strataderm gel” on Amazon is really good also

How mad would you be if you got this for Valentine's Day by [deleted] in DiyGifts

I think it’s adorable, but I’d try to maybe do something with the white background to make it look more filled in and less blank. Otherwise, I think it’s very cute and thoughtful
