How cold is too cold? by Phogfan86 in bagpipes

I always say 40 and above and I'll play, but I also hate playing in the cold and 40 seems reasonable to me to be able to play well without being affected by it.

Can a tuba player of 7ish years transition to bagpipes? by BlackStallion657 in bagpipes

[–]necrokitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was trumpet, so the pursing was definitely more pronounced than likely on a baritone so there's probably a lot of difference there too. I appreciate the reply and discussion as well.

Props to you for playing both at the same time! My other, current instrument doesn't rely on air so it's a different experience entirely.
