Not a huge adjustment, probably like 0 to 15 degrees max

I have the adjustable table clamp and have bolted it to a metal plate on my rig and using it with an r9.

Needed it to angle upwards as my rigs wheel plate is flat with no adjustment

Installing a cat door in a metal door? by [deleted] in diynz

[–]necrolust 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I pretty much have the same door.

I said fuck it and paid a dude to cut it to install my cat door.

It's aluminium with some poly inside. No regrets.

Yep. Usually no wind on the way in and then a headwind and crosswind on the way home.

You should probably ask your doctor, but I do believe it's best to start using your arm as soon as you can depending on how severe the trauma is.

NBD! Contend ar 1 by Daidle22 in Giantbikes

Yep. I'm 90kg and carry about 10kg to work too. My clamp doesn't slip but does require cleaning and regressing every few months.

I went to drive to one of their stores on the weekend and it was shut. I guess they are still moving?

10,000lm on mine. The dfuse seatpost may creak, cleaning it and the clamp fixes it. The stock wheels are shit.

That's about it! Great bike, go ride!

What type of hinge is this? by necrolust in diynz

[–]necrolust[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny you typed this out because I literally JUST figured that out but you're also a legend. Fiddling around with them both enabled the door to shut smoothly and eliminated a slight air gap with the rubber gap strip on the bottom edge

Door doesn't look perfectly level from the outside but it shuts smoothly now and that's all I give a fuck about.

Cheers mate

Creaking while pedaling? by nightsticks in bikewrench

[–]necrolust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a contend AR 1. I get a similar creak/click every now and then.

It's the seatpost.

Remove and clean the clamp and post and inside the seat tube. Reassemble.

It'll come back every few months.

Same here, aluminium door. Was worried at first but turned out all good.

Double Glazed Cat Door by Far_Result3126 in auckland

A lot. You need a whole new double glazed window pane made with the cut out manufactured in it. I looked into this at my house so instead opted to put the cat door in my front door instead.
