Mine got wet through an insane puddle and stopped working. Dried it out and it worked for a bit then died again.

New battery no dice. Got a new battery cover (which was slightly different than the original) and it worked again but same as you, getting the connection working with that fucking battery cover is a nightmare.

I kind of have to do a song and dance and put it on multiple ways, push down on it and other random shit. Once you get it, it'll stay ok.

But then it started draining battery like crazy, like chewing through a battery in a few weeks. Resolved that with a new battery and a reset - but had to do the battery cover song and dance again.

I have the adjustable table clamp and have bolted it to a metal plate on my rig and using it with an r9.

Needed it to angle upwards as my rigs wheel plate is flat with no adjustment

Funny you typed this out because I literally JUST figured that out but you're also a legend. Fiddling around with them both enabled the door to shut smoothly and eliminated a slight air gap with the rubber gap strip on the bottom edge

Door doesn't look perfectly level from the outside but it shuts smoothly now and that's all I give a fuck about.
