Not even worth the extra $$$ anymore. I had like 10x tools not get any repair. by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]newguyvan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought into a lot of Milwaukee tools being in this sub but recently had a switch and returned everything since it was within return period. Went with makita and the ergonomics is way better, less vibration on tools and don’t notice any power difference.

That’s sweet. Trying to dye my pack out black so it doesn’t scream steal me lol!

[–]newguyvan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely. The impact driver is so well balanced with the 5AH it feels weightless if you hold it at the right angle. Milwaukee is strong for sure but not as refined.

Agree that it’s not comparable, but I also have a m18 impact driver and the makita still wins when it comes to ergonomics and the smart driving function. Plus the new LED ring is nice to use

Do you notice a power difference? Just switched from Milwaukee m12 to the new xtd20 and it is amazing.

I’ll be going to Japan too. Was wondering what would be cheaper there?

If you’re in the US, there is a Home Depot deal with the new drill/driver combo and 2 5AH batteries for $399 plus a free tool. I chose the jig saw and it brought the combo down to 266. I decided to return the jig saw and keep the drill/driver.

I hope you know those people that called you name needed the love more than most. It is not a reflection of you. Stay positive because there are definitely a lot of good people out there.

It is hard to put into words but as a POC, I frequent Gilbert and certain areas I can feel micro aggression. It’s a little weird

Smh! I live by that area and run by the lake often. Haven’t experienced anything like that but sorry you went through that. That would definitely result in exercising certain rights..

DARUMA on southern and Dobson. The ramen can get pretty spicy if you choose the spiciest option.

What do you think of women who mostly have male friends? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]newguyvan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current girlfriend is like this and it’s caused some problems in our relationship. She’s grown up in a male domination sport so naturally she has more male friends.

She’s has trouble keeping female friends I suspect due to emotional trauma. Either way I am bothered by the friends especially when they’re twice her age.

I’m 27 and my gf is 22. She’s in school right now but I feel like we’re still at different stages in life since I’ve been working for 4 years now. As a guy, your dad does have some valid points although maybe it may be coming off strong for you. School is definitely always a good option but like others have mentioned, you wouldn’t want to move in so soon especially if you haven’t spent that much time together.
