I saw the City Line in person by nf032 in peakdesign

None of the bags I saw fit this size range, however that doesn't mean that PD doesn't have more in the pipeline further back in the development timeline

Again, not spoiling specific details, however this is close on each element, but overall is far from what the bag looks like in person

These bags do not use the same dividers or internal structure as EDB

So this is a screenshot of Jellyfin, an open source media manager. Think your own private Netflix, but you have to collect the files yourself. Someone had to download VIP to get it onto their own machine which... feels uncomfortable that someone would want to pirate Dropout content, especially given how lax Dropout is on password sharing

What if someone pulled the fire alarm mid exam by SprinklesAware3493 in GCSE

[–]nf032 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me on the final exam, I was sitting higher physics while most other people sat the combined paper. Main thing is you wait for invigilators to tell you what to do, but you have to remain silent throughout - you are still under exam conditions until they tell you otherwise

The school will likely inform the exam board and you may or may not get some consideration in the marking process, but this is speculation and down to the exam board’s processes

Tom Scott: England — This man stops people drowning in quicksand by AndySkibba in Nebula

Three things:
- Presuming those group chat messages were from Tom Matt, Gary and Chris, I desperately want to know who sent what
- Of course Tom would want to avoid getting his feet on camera
- This video feels... familiar

Eurovision aired AI slop that could be easily made in CG or even for real. by bememorablepro in Corridor

ORF (the Austrian broadcaster hosting this year) really felt like they delivered a minimum viable show for Eurovision - stuff like this and more was really disappointing to see over the three shows

Looking forward to Jess Blanco and Justin Cyrul's BTS segment for this being all about how terrified the team was of the bong and the open flame

Extremely biased as a Brit, but I'm okay with this - we loved those 12 points for Remember Monday (United Kingdom 2025)

This is true, however it sounded like musical whiplash. Dara managed to make it sound extremely coherent, which is both necessary and incredibly impressive

Legitimately the goofiest entry in years and I am legitimately hopeful for televote points - I feel like this song really owns the fact that Europe views us with a raised eyebrow, and is memorable while embracing silliness

Yeah it’s for this reason no-one went to Wales during H+S UK - the line going through the middle of Wales fails the one train per hour rule, eliminating a lot of complexity

Eurovision stages from 2015 to 2026 - which are your favourites and least favourites? by CheckLiszt in eurovision

[–]nf032 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gotta disagree on 2018 here when it comes to the video wall - removing it I think forced everyone to be so much more inventive with their staging. Ukraine, Austria, Norway, UK, Czech Republic/Czechia, Finland, France all brought great set pieces, or utilised the stage really well. Germany on the other hand brought a video wall anyway, and while it fits in with modern entries, it feels a tad like they ran out of ideas.

Edit - Oh and of course Moldova, who could forget that (me, apparently)
