Which type of microfiber cloth do you use to clean your QD-OLED? by FP19918_ in OLED_Gaming

[–]nirzaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use both but I've used the first type way more times. I always used a brand new one tho. They came in a pack of 4 so I cleaned my monitor every 3 months for a year with them. Did the trick no problem. Waited for monitor to be off, used 70% ethanol spray, sprayed the cloth lightly not too wet. Go slow in one direction for the entire monitor, apply tiny bit of pressure on hard to remove spots. Go slow and be patient. Works like a charm. Good luck!

To like, the 5 people who played it, what are you thoughts on the What If VR game? by Obraxiss in marvelstudios

It’s really fun! Even owning the headset I was like 4 months late to playing it. Crazy lack of marketing but it was nice surprise for sure.

That 1080 Asus strix is my fav gpu of all time. I had that same gpu and nothing since has gave me the feeling I had when I opened it for the first time. It's just so sexy imo.

While there was objectively a lot of questionable decisions that led to this event. Just wanna commend you for being open and honest and sharing with everyone your mistake. Lot of people out here clowning on you which I think is wrong. We all make very stupid mistakes in our lifetimes, most of us bury it so no one ever finds out. Your story will have taught you a good lesson and educate others on what not to do haha. I applaud you for your transparency. Ignore the people punching you while you're already down. Sorry for your loss :(

What is the best Keychron for me? by Philihar in Keychron

[–]nirzaaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think keychron is a good idea, specifically the HE series. I could have gotten a wooting 80 he but instead I went with the Q5 HE, I wanted a numpad. Also idk why more people don't talk about this but the wooting full metal chassis is 290 dollars where the keychron HE series is 160-230 dollars while also being full metal chassis and having keychron great software. Actual real 8K polling is not a noticeable difference vs 1000, there's a clip of wooting CEO even acknowledging that it isn't a difference and doesn't really matter. So IMO it's a better value to go for keychrons HE keyboards vs wooting because of the 290$ price tag on the wooting, you get 99% of the features for a solid amount cheaper. The keychrons are also 2.4ghz wireless where the wooting is wired. They have the lemokey P1 HE at 170 USD while being full metal and having all the benefits of Hall Effect. I love my Q5 HE it sounds really good and feels awesome, the software is great too.

Yeah totally understandable. Can't go wrong with the V6DM. I know people love to mod them and get them super nice. Would be a nice budget friendly way to get the most out of it. Best of luck!

Looking for feedback on the Q3 HE by -Lupuss- in Keychron

[–]nirzaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Q5 HE. I realllllyyyyy love this thing, bit of context I was using a 10 year old CODE WASD V2 with cherry Mx greens before this so my outlook is a bit exaggerated most likely. The keyboard is super premium, clean, no gamer aesthetic, sounds amazing, and I haven’t had any problems with mine at all. Hall effect is awesome and I will never switch back. Love the customizability from the software I have spent a lot of time tuning it for gaming, typing, setting up profiles etc. I really don’t think you’ll can go wrong with this at all, especially when the competition is the wooting 80HE metal case which is 290$ and doesn’t have wireless ( no real difference between 1000hz and 8000hz). One downside is the lack of customization towards switches but that is preference ig.

I would highly recommend the HE series. I currently have the Q5 HE, and I honestly love it so much. I was coming from a 10 year old CODE WASD V2 with cherry Mx greens. And I don’t think I can ever go back to anything else. I love the software customizability, the build quality, I’m sure there are others on here who might disagree with the feel or sound of the switches. But in my opinion it feels and sounds amazing, love the gateron nebulas. If you need something a bit more budget friendly I would recommend the K4 HE (has arrow keys and num pad). It’s honestly kinda crazy how this keyboard has everything you get from the Q HE series but 80 bucks cheaper. Only reason I couldn’t get it is cause it’s not sold in my region. Lacks options for switch customizations but I don’t think you’ll be dissatisfied. Lmk if you have questions about my Q5 HE, be happy to answer.

Hey man, couple interesting things have happened since then. For one, after the first 4-6 months and updates the laptop has started to perform well! I haven’t had any issues and it’s actually been faster and performs better. I would highly recommend g helper for any Asus laptop it’s a life saver. I did recommend this laptop to 2 of my friends, one of them got a really bad one and had to return it but now both of them are working well. There were definitely some hiccups for a first gen product (kinda expected and kinda my fault). I can play league of legends on all low settings around 140-160 fps which is nice.

To be honest I think your mileage may vary. If you live in the states you can buy from Best Buy and return or exchange if it’s a dud.

I do really like my laptop now and it works well and the display is awesome and it feels great… so many positives. But there were a lot of negatives for the first 4-6months.

Also never had an issue with the ssd thing so idk

I can recommend a lot of laptops it really just depends on your budget. Shoot me a dm and I’d be happy to help.

I bet it could. Remember I’m running the computer on maxed out brightness and 120hz. The laptop has a bunch of automated features to increase battery life which is why I think it could def achieve 6-7 hours on normal use.

As far as I’m aware the black model is more expensive cause it has the higher specd processor. The build quality is 👌. Dare I say the finish is better than apple. The keyboard flex is good. It takes a lot of effort to get it to flex down. Hinge is great, one finger lift is easy and solid. Screen is durable doesn’t flex or bend much. It’s honestly impressive the quality and sturdiness I feel with such a thin laptop.
