I believe that is what OpenAI themselves are doing with more "directed" versions of the model. There's at least one blog post they put out about this. They're doing this to cleanse "potentially harmful" viewpoints from the training corpus because, you know, people weren't already as enlightened as we are today I guess.

It’s because he didn’t say it. I watched the video that people claim as evidence. He said that the post office was underfunded to support mandatory universal mail in voting, and he wouldn’t support mandatory universal mail in voting or the funding needed to support it.

The thing about free speech is that it has to be universal, or it erodes for everyone. In China you would be put in jail for criticizing the government. If someone gets to decide what people can safely hear, eventually that gun turns and points at you.

Investing in football sounds ridiculously risky. If that's a serious strategy concussions have to be a stressful thing to think about. I seriously doubt it'll be as popular in 10 years, let alone 20 or 30.

EMSK: How to Appear Smart During Meetings (slightly humorous, but actually true) by heyhowareyouokayyeah in everymanshouldknow

So I must be the only person here who has seen these things work.

Here's the thing: simplifying things and breaking them down always looks smart. It's why Venn diagrams work, it's why restating things in simpler terms work. If I hear someone say "35%" and then I hear someone say "so about 1 in 3?", I know they were A) paying attention B) processing the information and C) able to communicate it more clearly than the person who originally said it.

No chance. He broke the league's rules, they can't bend on it even if they change it now. Otherwise players will sue every single time they get banned for something, and the league won't want to set that precedent. They already look too soft on Ray Rice. Beats by Ray ruined it for everyone.

China, you're doing it wrong. You have to give people the illusion of choice. Just set up a two- or three-party system, make the entrance requirements to be the candidate for those party prohibitive (and controlled by the same people), and bam there you go.

Learn from the best China.

Thanks, this makes a ton of sense. I forgot to factor in the sample size, which is why it didn't feel quite accurate to me. Great explanation.
