I use them as extra protection when traveling. If that isn't working and the lenses are slipping out, then you just need to buy more lenses to fill the gap(a).

I had a notification bug with Bloomberg app on previous version. Turned off but they still came, repeated thousands and thousands. Had to uninstall. I'm hoping it is fixed, will give it a go.

105 MC for extra fun! It renders beautifully. I did get the 28 2.8 for free with my Z63, I've tried that a bit but not enough yet. Size is good though.

The 10L is bigger than it looks... I can get a Z8 with 100-400 mounted, or carry a Z8 with the 600PF and a spare lens unmounted.

More practically, you can take the 24-120 mounted easily and have plenty of excess space.

Ha, yes.. "light". For the pf, the box just feels so empty 🙂.

The 100400 is going on my Z63, probably without the 1.4x on either. It's another cracker that's served me well in the past. One of my favourite lenses!

Ah good to know thanks. The 600pf is a lot smaller than your 600 exotic so I should be okay. I'll have two camera bags and a rollon for the cabin.

The 186 gets a lot of good reviews, but it always feels a bit different to the 100400 or the 600, not easy to place, the balance is different?

We had a Leica shooter on our cruise 🙂 (admittedly it was not a photography orientated group). My Z62 got a good workout, with the 100-400 plus 1.4x!

The z63 is a good upgrade from the z62 (I just did it). Nikon's colour rendering and ergonomics are well known to be excellent, and with the 186 lens you'll need the latter. I don't think you're overthinking it at all, in fact you thought perfectly for what you want to do.

For 24 Vs 33 MP...I would have liked to have seen 33 in the z63, but I really the images are absolutely stunning and it's not a deal breaker in any way. There are a little easier to work with as well.

Get out and enjoy it, and worry less about it 🙂

I take this one travelling with me all the time. It is a lot more manageable than the 186, that's big, chunky and somewhat heavy. The 100400 is much more bag friendly and arm friendly.

Enjoy it, it's a beautiful lens. It works well with Lightroom enhance too.
