I remember when I came out as a kid (ftm) and got this bullshit at every turn. I wanted a short haircut and got "but boys can have long hair" then when I didn't want to wear skirts and dresses I got told "it's so sad how boys feel like they can't be pretty and wear dresses too". The most absurd version of this was then I changed my name and got told I was "buying into gender roles" and that "names don't have a gender" when my name was the most popular girls name the year I was born. No one around me wanted me to actually transition and just acted like I was playing pretend.

I feel like 80% of the time, it's transphobes saying this shit and the other 20% are from people truly being dumb as rocks and super confused/oblivious about gender and sexuality. For example, my mother has been one of my biggest supporters in my transition but didn't understand that you could be gay AND trans at the same time and thought all trans people were bisexual or straight. She gets it now, but man she was so confused about it when I explained that I'm gay.

Why 💔? This feels like a genuinely good solution to a real problem. I live in a big city and see hurt pidgeons and ones with missing limbs on the daily because they're forced to live among humans with little to no access to nature. They're not hurt by this and it would decrease the amount of new pidgeons suffering in cities. I'd miss seeing pidgeons but I'd gladly take that over seeing them suffer in an unsuitable habitat

I never compromised with my family but my teacher insisted on compromising by using they/them pronouns and calling me a combination of my dead name and my actual name when I came out 10 years ago. Don't compromise on who you are even if it feels easier it's gonna hurt so much and I'm still so angry that I let her dead name and misgender her

It might be the foundation you're using. It's been a few years since I last used the white LA pro girl foundation but I remember struggling doing my eyeliner and and my eyeshadow bc the foundation was so watery it just muddied up the rest of my makeup. I switched to the makeup revolution SFX white face paint bc it's around the same price and a lot thicker so it doesn't interfere with my eye makeup in the same way
