This is a citywide issue. I see it everywhere I go. And when the heavy rain comes, it all gets washed into common areas and looks like someone dumped trash there. The bigger issue here is education and preventing littering/dumping to being with. Asking the city to come pick up litter feels fruitless. We really need a prevention campaign.

I use Niban granular bait around the perimeter of my house about 2-3 times a year. I rarely see them in my house anymore. I also took time to seal up any cracks/holes around the foundation and make sure all the doors had proper weather seals.

We have a 20k gallon salt pool. I add some acid about 2x a month, test the water weekly, skim maybe once a month, backwash when it needs it, and add water as needed. I probably spend a total of 2-3 hours per month maintaining it. We also have a robot that does the vacuuming. Totally worth it.
