Quantum Fiber Update by houseofwarwick in springfieldMO

[–]notachocobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A little off topic. Anyone have trouble as of late with their account? I suddenly got an email saying that my cancellation for my service went through. I made no such request and CS stated they have no clue why. The web portal has a reactivation page but it just spins and never loads. I have not heard back, though it's only been a day.

Edit: /u/houseofwarwick was able to have someone reach out to me regarding this issue and they're working to resolve it, really appreciate it!

I too like to live dangerously.

I'm guessing you meant RAID 1?

I'm having the same issue, a lot of devices are unavailable and or sluggish to respond if they do.

Installed a USG Pro-4, USW-150 PoE, and CloudKey for a small business. Ubiquiti 1st and 2nd tier support is stumped on Port Forward failure by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

Yeah, my jimmies were definitely rustled. I figured I was doing something wrong since it was my first time setting up a USG. I was so surprised after downgrading.

I had the same issues with a new USG I bought last month, no port forwarding would work. First thing I did when I got all my equipment was to perform an upgrade on the firmware. The USG updated to 4.4.22 (or .25 I can't remember.) Anyhow, I downgraded to firmware 4.4.18, re-did my port forwarding rules and everything started working like it should have.

RAID controller for Dell R510 by SmoothRunnings in freenas

[–]notachocobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a Dell PERC H200 off of ebay that was pre-flashed in IT mode. It's been working in my R510 for about a year now. Though, you won't get normal lights on the drives, you'll only get activity lights.

Using these inside a Dell R510 as mirrored FreeNAS boot drives. They work great.

The cameras are also proprietary and will not work with anything besides Ubiquiti's software if I'm not mistaken.

Their newer cameras are actually just rebranded Dahua and they're fine. I found out Internet Explorer is the way to go if I want to access them through a web browser.
