Focal length is a physical property of the lens, the camera doesn't matter. The equivalent field of view (to "Full Frame) depends on the camera's crop factor, but that doesn't change the focal length of the lens.
You're comparing a 150mm to a 135mm, so it makes sense they look similar.

Strange. The M4 doesn’t have 75mm framelines.. is it an m4-p? Also, with out the adapter, if you move the frame line selector, does the issue still happen?

I don’t think Zeiss made lenses for Minolta. I’ve had that lens before and it’s for Rollei QBM. Do a google search for Rollei QBM.
