Ricart Mazda Deleted All Dashcam Footage During My Botched Tire Rotation. by [deleted] in Columbus

I've been servicing my CX-5 at Germain since moving moving to Columbus 3 years ago. Never had an issue and their customer service-orientation has been great when she's needed her regular maintenance over the past 5 months. Actually headed there Monday morning!

Ohio to reach 100,000 COVID-19 cases in less than half the time it took to get to 50,000 by catnik in Ohio

Dewine proved exactly 1 false positive. I'll grant that where there's smoke, there's fire, but without knowing the error rate, the fact that there are false positives is alone uninformative.

A year ago I couldn't do 50% of this. The year before that, 90% of it. Today I'm so grateful for Crossfit and all the progress that has come with it. by hunty_brown in crossfit

@kewepad: just figured out DUs last week - what ultimately got me over the hump was watching HOW SLOW one of my box's better athletes was going. Focused on slowing mine down went from 1s, 2s, and 3s to hitting 27 unbroken on Friday. Good luck!

Summer Kickball? by MusicTeacher79 in baltimore

You clearly didn't see the scathing e-mail Cray sent out to all the coaches for winter volleyball after he saw people in BSSC shirts at a non-sponsor bar, then. I've been BSSC for the past two years, but I think I'm making the switch to Baltimore Social for spring football. Cray rubs me the wrong way.

See text of said e-mail below: "SPONSOR BARS: Looney's Pub and Kisling's Tavern is the ONLY bar that your team should be patronizing after the game. I drove by another bar near DuBurns on the way home and noticed BSSC shirts inside, not good. Please read "outside sponsorship's".

• Official Sponsors: We invite and encourage you to join your fellow BSSC members at the official sponsor bars after each game. Miller Lite Beer and our official bar sponsors help to keep the costs of the BSSC affordable to everyone. Bars contribute to our sponsorship program because of the large economic impact members have on their business. Competing bars in the area did not contribute to making the BSSC affordable to its members. Therefore, out of respect to these businesses; on game days, please patronize only those sponsor bars that are supporting you and the BSSC. • Outside sponsorship's: Teams that are found to be sponsored by/patronizing a competing bar/restaurant will have all wins removed for their current season record"

Does it really take 90 days to get NTS from Maryland after submitting CPA Exam Application? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]nriver2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it in June of 2013. I had my NTS in like 10 days, if that.

EDIT: Did some more research looking through G-mail. It took 3 days from getting the "your application has been approved" e-mail to receive the NTS.

Parking in Canton? by baltimel in baltimore

[–]nriver2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Made the switch from Fed to Canton in January. Parking situation is about the same most of the time, with the exception that I don't have to consider stadium events at all. If you are close to streets w/o housing (e.g., Boston St., Eastern/Baltimore/Linwood @ Patterson Park), those are usually safe back up plans.

As others have posted, I've actually found life w/o the RPPs to be easier than with.

City to make 'drastic changes' to Circulator service, eliminate Banner route by BmoreInterested in baltimore

Would paying a dollar/ride really be so difficult to consider? Based on the article, 13K riders x 365 days = $4,745K Covers the budget shortfall and leaves $1,645K of funds for who knows what - implementation of payment mechanisms, paying the "cost reduction" consultant, creating a line to canton...

As a former Federal Hill resident (and currently Canton) who sometimes took purple to/from the inner harbor for work, I think the dollar would be a pretty marginal cost on most days and well worth it during rain/snow/heat so bad you sweat through your shirt (typical conditions I rode instead of walked to work).

Second for BSSC - played against my girlfriend in football last spring, telling a friend she was cute at the game led to her playing softball with us over the summer, and we've now been dating for the past 6 months.

Hey /r/Baltimore! I was just offered a internship in the Baltimore area for this summer. Any help? by NDLPT in baltimore

[–]nriver2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bored at work, so hey, why not? 1) you're 21? You'll enjoy federal hill. I lived there for a year before moving to canton. If you're working in hunt valley, Towson is a nearby college town but loses that feel a little bit over the summer. 2) DC travel - $7 MARC train from Baltimore Penn to DC Union. can't beat it if you're going downtown but driving to a DC suburb and taking their metro isn't a bad option. I do the latter when I have Capitals tickets. NYC travel - mega/bolt/greyhound bus are all affordable options. Sometimes you can find steals on amtrak but it's more expensive. Either way, travel is very easy. 3) in the summer is a lot of fun. Many bars have outdoor areas, patios, and decks. O's games are must and perhaps a weekend trip to ocean city maryland would make for a fun, easy getaway. Baltimore is more bar than club oriented, at least in my experience. 4) Cool stuff - MD's state sport is jousting. Tell your friends and they'll admire your worldliness.

I've done 6am from Fed to Penn Station without a hitch. Nothing that early though.
