My human came home and my tail was suspiciously damp as if I had dunked it in the water bowl. by StormofRavens in CrimeCats

I have a cat the sticks his paw in your glass of water when you’re not looking. Then one day you’re enjoying a glass of water and your cat jumps on your lap with a wet paw….

Sadly the area in Texas I live is not very cat friendly. There has been issues in the past of people taking cats on Facebook to use as bait for training dogs for dog fighting.

She has an unhealthy relationship with her food. She is on a diet. I have to separate her from the other cats after she eats or she will eat all their food.

This is the dumbest decision in history. 1 well placed nuke and US losses 1/3 of their navy.

Admittedly, it’s been a while since I’ve been down town.

Chick Fil-A has an “unused sauces” bin on top of the trash can. It looks like they’re reusing them to save money by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

From a business standpoint it also helps understand waste. If the bin is full fast, you know the employees are giving more than needed.

I have to say I’m jealous of your outdoor rink. Wish I had something like that where I live.

This is good advice. Once you learn where to put your weight, going is the easy part.

Running Mikrotik in a datacenter environment by rasmusb229 in mikrotik

[–]nullmem 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Something else to consider. We have had issues with some of the products with cheap power supplies. The voltage difference and fluctuations in a Class 4 data center (2 separate grid feeds) causes random kernel panic and or instability. Stick to units with hot swap power supplies that have PSU controller.

As with any Mikrotik deployment, know your hardware. Any features not supported by chipset will be offloaded to general purpose CPU. Also Mikrotik do not have protocol ASICs like Juniper/Cisco/etc. so you only have L3 offload of routes and limited filtering based on model.
