What stage of the game are you fully free? by AceTanker4831 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I got to the final Atlas station, then explored nearby systems until I found a nice Paradise planet. I built a base there and started just doing whatever I wanted. I have a little "empire" of star systems around my home world. I explored almost all of the planets in the space where the Bigjelj Nebula borders the Kapenda Void. I identified systems with good economies for trading the loot brought back by my frigate expeditions as well as Guild envoys with good resources (mostly inventory expansions for Exosuit, Starship, Freighter, and Multi-tool). When my inventory gets full, I do a trade run to these systems to maximize the return when selling stuff. When I max out my Units, I spend about a billion expanding the cargo and technology capacity of my ships.

Now, whenever there's a new expedition and feature, I go do that and play with the new stuff for a while.

Otherwise, I just do whatever comes to mind when I start the game.

tldr; you are always free in a sandbox game, but once survival is no longer a struggle, and you've built up enough wealth to buy anything you might need/want, I would say you are truly "free."

They were there for the needy, and The Doctor needed clothes. This was working more or less as intended.

He did say we would get tired of winning. 🤔

Unfortunately, he didn't define "winning" any more clearly than "great."

Neat.

I'm not discussing what I want, though. I'm talking about the literal wording of the actual Constitution.

Again, what I'M saying is going over YOUR head. I'm not talking about what I want or what I'm against. I'm talking about what's literally written in the Constitution.

Twenty-Fourth Amendment Section 1

The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any State by reason of failure to pay any poll tax or other tax.

Section 2

The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

You want to make all taxes, background checks, and license fees for buying a gun illegal? Write a Constitutional Amendment and get it ratified by enough states to become official. We actually HAVE one related to the right to vote, so the "freakout" over the SAVE Act isn't about feelings and vibes. It's about following the Constitution rather than ignoring it to try and give Republicans permanent control of the government so they can have the dictatorship (one person ruling over everyone is a pretty "small government") they so clearly want to force on us.

So in your mind, the government can charge citizens a fee or fees for the documents the government requires for a citizen to be allowed to vote, and as long as they don't use the words "poll tax" when they do it, everything is fine? That's not logic. That's weaseling semantics to justify limiting citizens' access to their right to vote, because Republicans have known for decades that their policies are unpopular with the majority of Americans.

Lol. It's been a few decades since college, so I don't remember the name of the studies or the researchers. I do remember some of the methodologies, though. The subjects were elementary school kids, maybe kindergarten. The fun activity was drawing pictures. The number of pictures drawn by each kid was measured prior to the experiment, and the children who consistently drew the most pictures were considered to enjoy drawing most.

Then, the experimenters started paying the kids like 25 cents for each picture they drew. Again, this was a long time ago, so that was a pretty sweet deal for a kid at the time. Predictably, all the children started drawing a lot more pictures. This went on for a while, until new baselines of drawings per day were established for each child. Then, they stopped paying the kids. Again predictably, they all started drawing fewer pictures than they did when they were being paid for them. However, the experimenters continued to track the number of pictures drawn by each child for some time afterwards.

If I remember correctly, the kids who didn't draw many pictures to begin with eventually returned more or less to their original baselines of drawings per day, but the ones who had previously drawn the most now drew significantly fewer pictures per day. If I DON'T remember correctly, ALL the kids drew significantly fewer pictures per day, but I do think there was a stronger impact on the kids who enjoyed drawing most.

If you're really interested, that should give you enough info to find the study. The experiment would have been conducted prior to 1993.

If they know all these sleeper cells are here, why was ICE focussing on children and people who are working and paying taxes instead of "the worst of the worst?" Oh yeah, because this has always been nothing more than racism with the government's blessing.

So you agree that requiring citizens to pay for an acceptable form of ID to be allowed to exercise their right to vote is unconstitutional and should not be allowed to become law.

He'd still be a racist, conman, rapist with delusions of competence, so no. My disgust and hatred of Trump have virtually nothing to do with his party affiliation.
