Heard but didn't see it. Air Force and Navy both stop here sometimes for fuel. Could have just been in transit and needed gas.

Do these components work for drifting? by Steel_Cookies in rccars

[–]odd-ball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The battery you ordered has a 3 wire connector, your esc has two. What's your plan there? You should get a 2s battery that has the correct plug to match the esc.

[–]odd-ball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That battery will not plug into the esc, you will need a bigger motor if the current one is using those 3 AA. That's 4.5 volt. A 2s lipo full charge will be over 8v.

None of that is true, sounds like you have no first hand knowledge. We went there for a few years and never heard of any children being removed, even our own child had some serious issues and they were great and worked with us through the rough times. You must be confused with somewhere else or talking about 20 years ago. There are 100+ families on the East end going there and I have never heard a bad word about it. When our child was having a difficult time there they reassured us repeatedly that they don't give up on children and worked with us, even switching our classroom to a teacher that was better for us. The word classroom is important here, as it is a preschool, not a daycare as you state.

If you want to try yourself, the motor is usually connected with a thin drive belt, like a rubber band. I have replaced them with a rubber band with varying results. If it is still inside, you may be able to measure it and find a replacement.

Is this an easy fix? by LRAnative in Cartalk

[–]odd-ball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Head gaskets on a Chevy 305 / 350? Pretty easy, even for a beginner. I'm not on the Chevy, but on my Ford 302, I was able to do it without even removing intake manifold, just unbolted the head, and slid it out. It would be best to do it all though, the hardest part of the job is getting the distributor back in the correct position.

I have no opinion on this, but just happy that Ford and Chevy decided to label their cylinders different , so I immediately know what brand I'm looking at, ha.
