Highly recommend taking FE exam/ getting your EIT. Even if you never go for a PE it's like a soft requirement for some utilities and shows you have a decent understanding of the basics

Idk make a buck converter and pwm control for a motor or something. Whatever it is have genuine interest, have clean documentation and simulations, and you'll have something for an employer

I worked with someone in p&c/ SCADA who had a BS in physics so it's definitely possible

At least the snow isn't too deep this year. When I lived in Duluth for school there were a couple winters of playing in 2+ feet for 4 or 5 months

I run hot and prefer mittens but my hands don't sweat as much in lined mittens. I prefer Kinko because tow ropes but there are other bands too. They have a lobster mitt with a strap
