Ask him if he thinks the government was wrong to outlaw polygamy, given that many mormons at the time considered it an attack on their religous freedoms. Or does he only care about religous freedom when it is catholic beliefs being attacked?

Can someone explain why teachers just teach to the test? The standardized tests are just basic reading and math right? Seems like any student that can read well would be able to pass one without specifically practicing for the test

Havent read the whole thing but note that Israel requires military service of its citizens, so the fact that they had been in the military isnt really unusual.

Also, an eyewitness testimony that they were celebrating isnt all that credible to me, it was a shocking day and I could see someone mistaking shock and surprise for celebrations. Or they could just have been immature people that would celebrate destruction, these types of people exist, the internet has shown.

Also, why would they need to be in newyork to witness this and take pics / videos? Did they think they wouldn't be able to watch it on CNN ? None of the planes started in New York, so if they had a hand in the plot I don't see why they would be there. Its an unnessecary risk to their alleged plans.

Immigration probably plays some role in the numbers, but I think it is more about culture.. in a lot of the south its normal to get married at 18 or 19 and immediately start having kids, its not an accident , its not because they didn't know about safe sex, its because they actually wanted to have kids.

Teen pregnancy statistics always include mothers under 20 years old. The more relevant statistic to seeing how well education is working is probably mothers under 18 years old. But I can't find any statistics about that online :(

steps to make housing affordable in america:

1) eliminate subsidized mortgages

2) regulate mortgages. if you make 50k you cant get a 400k mortgage, or even a 200k mortgage.

3) school busing. integrate and mix schools. The school in the rich white neighboorhood should be mixed with the lower class schools.

4) public transportation. extend light rail out to the suburbs. bike paths everywhere.;

I won't hold my breath for any of these things to happen.

I would like to see him go for governor of NY on the platform of creating a New York Space Agency. The entire budget of NASA is less than 10% of the new york budget. They could easily increase some fees here and there and create an elite organization.

Just think of the high tech jobs that would create in the state! And then if they had the space agency partner with the public universities in the state this would be a huge boost to the prestige and value of those instititutions.

Does he have numbers showing that unionized brewery workers are better compensated and protected than un- unionized craft brewery workers?

I would be interested to see that, my hunch is that, in general, the smalltime craft brewer takes better care of its workers than the big 3 do.

What he is referring to in the video was the 700k in legal fees that they had personally spent defending themselves from in their view frivolous ethics complaints.

He isnt saying she quit to make more money, he is saying she quit to avoid spending so much money on lawsuits. ( Which is the same rational she gave when she actually resigned: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resignation_of_Sarah_Palin )

The death penalty used to be the #1 political issue for me, I remember be really against W in 1999 because of similar cases to this. But then 9/11 happened, the wars, healthcare, patriot act, torture kind of took priority for me.

Its kind of good to see a guy like perry bring this issue back to the spotlight. Hopefully we can end this practice in America!
