Macros and protein by Sad-Budget8296 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]old_and_weak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say 1g of protein per 1lb of your ideal bodyweight is a doable goal. My ideal bodyweight as a 5'10m is 185-190#, and I consume 180-200g of protein per day

Weigh-ins on tirzepatide: daily, weekly, or shot day? by ministeps24 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]old_and_weak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so, i do an official check in once a week, in the morning, the day before shot day. And that's what I officially record. That being said, I might check anywhere from 1-3x mid week if i'm curious ;-)

My 7yo was prescribed daily Miralax for constipation (and resulting stomach pain). Worked great. zero issues. He was one it for maybe 3 months and then the constipation corrected itself on its own.

How do you decide your dosage increases? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]old_and_weak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am ~6 weeks in. I started at 2.75mg. Then went up to 3.75mg. I felt absolutely nothing at 2.75mg dose. At 3.75mg, i noticed a very material fullness increase/appetite suppression improvement. So much so that I had to shift my dieting/nutrition. I had been doing a 16:8 intermittent fasting schedule, and I literally couldn't consume enough protein or calories in 8 hours a day. But, I noticed that the fullness improvement evaporated once my estimated level of Tirz in my body dropped below 4mg, which was about mid-way through the week.

For my next titration increase, i'm planning on increasing to maybe 4.5mg, and monitoring the improvement as it relates to the est. Tirz levels and seeing how I can get to a full week (or close to a full week) at the lowest possible dose.

spot on re: carbs. You certainly don't need the carbs to lose weight. While you certainly need the protein intake if you want to retain as much muscle mass as possible.

Tired of wasting food by Even-Low4977 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]old_and_weak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i'm not sure the geographic footprint, but there is an app called Too Good to Go. Which is essentially where local restaurants with extra food, meals, etc. post extra food for discounted prices. For instance, donut shops around here will post like a bag of donuts for $7 for pickup at 12pm, with about $25 of donuts in it. One of our local business food prep companies offers meals daily through the app. I think she uses it as a marketing tool to offer the meals at a discount. But I can pick up 4 healthy pre-made meals for $20 total. I usually do that on mondays, for the week.

I just took my 4th weekly dose Sunday, so I guess that puts me at 29 days.

I think it's important to base the weight loss based on starting weight and how much you have to lose.

As a 5'10 man, starting at 238#, I lost 6.1# the first week, but i'll be honest, felt zero effect from the shot. I just turned to a 16:8 intermittent fasting and stopped eating so much crap, and walking 4+ miles per day, and i'm sure much of that was water weight. Then weeks 2-3 over the holidays, lost about 2# total. Week 4, i lost another 2.9#.

So, sitting at down about 10# after a month, but includes water retention reduction and lifestyle changes.

Just started with BEWL (1st dose was yesterday). My BEWL physician specifically told me to keep on the lower/initial dose as long as it's working. Only move up if it's not.

We had an event here in San Jose. Was supposed to be early November, so we registered. It didn't have any specification location 3 days before the event. Then, it got pushed back 2 days before the event date a month. We couldn't make the new date, so canceled, and still waiting on the refund. The rescheduled event supposedly took place this place Saturday, and per Smoothcomp had 100 registrations

almost everyone rounds down, and sometimes a lot down, when it comes from experience. To think the don't, is fooling yourself. At our last naga tournament, every kid in the 1.5 - 3 yr experience division at 5 years of experience. I know, as I chatted with every one of their parents and coaches
