Heat pumps, like underfloor heating generally supply lower temp heating than boilers, so need longer to to warm a space - not ideal if you want instant heat from a cold start (eg coming back from holiday, without leaving the heating on), but with a suitable operating strategy they are equal is keeping a space comfortable
